... we have some core beliefs. They are historic, orthodox doctrines that come from the Bible. We realize that Christians don't always agree on everything, and we understand that doctrine (beliefs) can be divisive. So it's important to recognize that what unites Christians is far greater than what separates them. In essentials we seek unity. In non-essentials we practice charity.
These unifying issues have to do with God, Christ, humanity, and the way God communicates with mankind. What is obvious is that man is broken, and that he does not have the ability to be his own healer. Fortunately God has done something about that problem through Jesus Christ. It's really not any more complicated than that.
